Last updated: October 2026

Rise & Shine Cleaning is a family-run exterior cleaning business covering Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area. This notice explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it.

Who we are

Rise & Shine Cleaning (Anthony Killick) is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice by email at ajkillick@btconnect.com or by phone on 07903 912285.

What we collect

  • Details you give us in our quote and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, postcode or town, address, the service you are interested in, your message and any photos you choose to upload.
  • Details you give us when you call, text, email or message us on WhatsApp or social media.
  • Anonymous website usage information collected by Google Analytics (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

How we use your information

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare and send a quote, arrange and carry out the work, invoice you and keep basic records of the jobs we have done. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract (a quote) and then to perform that contract. We do not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

Website form submissions are delivered to our email inbox by a form-handling service (FormSubmit), which passes the message on to us. Our website is hosted by BT. We may also use everyday business tools such as email, phone and accounting software to manage jobs. We only share your information where it is needed to run the business or where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how many people click to call or request a quote. This uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, but it does not tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our Facebook feed and Google Maps panels are provided by Meta and Google, who may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

If you do not go ahead with a quote, we delete your enquiry details within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep customer and job records for as long as we need them for ongoing service and for up to 6 years for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Just contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
